i love valentine's day... part two.
Thien and i designed this shirt for valentine's day. I miss writing notes, but especially folding them and receiving intricately folded notes.
i love valentine's day.
When i designed this card we had not had rain in so long, i missed it. By the time i silk screened the cards it was pouring. Here's to hoping we get even more rain this year.
This is the original design, done in indesign.

2014 calendar: presidential pets
For the past three years thien and i do a calendar together. First it was presidents, then first ladies. This year we present you with... first pets!
Our only rule was to use pets that we could find the actual name of. For instance james buchanan had a pair of bald eagles, which we would have loved to draw, but we couldn't find their names.

mural design
I recently completed the design for a tech company in San Francisco, Alpine Data Labs. They wanted something that showed how their company can help their clients, but in a way that is visually interesting as well as meaningful to what the company does. I did my best. Ha.
The design ended up being comprised of letters, numbers, and mathematical functions. We decided a decal would work best because of how precise it would be.
Match Print Go Go Go created the 18 foot decal and installed it. They were so easy to work with and did an amazingly perfect job. Above is the installation process.
And finally, here is the completed mural.

My crazy husband decided we weren't busy enough and started a photobooth company, True Photobooth. He and his business partner built an amazing photobooth. This is an illustration i did for the company.
(i recommend clicking on it to see the detail)
